Future Career Pathway workshop

During the short-term summer education program, we invited alumni who graduated from Chiputula Elementary School and individuals who grew up in the community to share their experiences and challenges during their primary school years. We found that the graduates of Chiputula Elementary School and those who grew up in the community were enthusiastic about sharing their stories.

Initially, to increase interaction between elementary students and graduates, we scheduled both the reading workshop and the future career workshop on the same day. However, we realized that graduates were often too busy to participate fully.

As a result, we decided to organize the alumni-involved activities once a semester.

Moreover, each event had volunteers and members with close relationships with the students. These volunteers and members shared similar backgrounds with the students and had diverse experiences, making them excellent role models who could establish a strong connection with the students.
